Shared Housing

Compass Rose Housing (CRSH) offers a shared housing program! This program is best suited for students seeking roommates and a shared-living college experience. Apartment rent, furniture, basic utilities and roommate matching are all included in your monthly housing payment (price groups vary). All students are on individual leases, which offers financial protection and allows apartment transfer flexibility.

Independent Housing

Compass Rose Housing (CRSH) can assist with independent housing options. This type of housing is best suited for families, students bringing a friend, students with pets or students who simply like their privacy. You provide your housing preferences, amenities, and budget parameters and housing consultants will provide you with a list of properties that fit your specifications. Our Student Services Department can also provide students with local apartment lists or list of rooms for rent, if interested.

About Orlando

Orlando is located in the heart of central Florida, 84 miles northeast of Tampa and 56 miles southwest of Daytona Beach. Known as The City Beautiful, Orlando is home to over 100 lakes and more than a dozen theme parks, including Disney and Universal Studios.

Public Transportation

Orlando has two main public transportation systems, Lynx bus system and SunRail train system. Which system is used may depend on where in the city students reside. Many students looking to get around town without a car will explore these options as well as Uber, Lyft and taxi services. The school also maintains a carpool list.

Entertainment

Known as the theme park capital of the world, there is plenty to do in this sunny state of Florida. From the hustle and bustle of downtown Orlando to its breathtaking shores, no wonder the city attracts over 60 million visitors every year!
