Overview

The Peterbilt Technician Institute (PTI) is a manufacturer-paid program offering students advanced Peterbilt training on the company's products and technologies, including Peterbilt's legendary trucks and the PACCAR MX-13 engine. During this 12-week program, you'll learn to diagnose, repair and maintain the company's products on your way to earning nine valuable factory certifications valued by more than 350 Peterbilt dealerships across North America.

Earn nine valuable Peterbilt certifications preparing you to diagnose, repair and maintain Peterbilt vehicles and products. Graduates will be prepared to join Peterbilt's next generation of technicians and be on their way to pursuing a career with a premium American truck brand.

Knowledge

While attending the Peterbilt MSAT program, students will start with an introduction to Peterbilt that covers specialized tooling and software, vehicle operations and safety, DOT inspections and maintenance services. The program continues with electrical systems and testing, HVAC, chassis, brakes, and PACCAR MX engines and diagnostics.

Peterbilt continues to update their training program to prepare graduates for the industry. This includes significantly increasing the amount of electrical training, new trucks and a newly added introduction to electric vehicles.
