Program Details
Our Airframe & Powerplant Technician program is designed to prepare students for entry-level opportunities in various areas of the aviation industry. Through hands-on and classroom learning, they explore topics such as aircraft troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics, powerplant lubrication systems and turbine engine operation. As graduates, they’re eligible to apply and test for Airframe and Powerplant FAA certification.

Students at UTI Canton who successfully complete the Airframe & Powerplant Technician program can continue studying to earn an AAS degree in Aviation Maintenance! This type of graduation document may aid them in their career pursuit.
