Audi Technician & NASCAR Technical Institute Graduate Tony Causey Shares Advice for Auto Technicians
Tony Causey says he has always been a car guy, playing car video games and then getting his own car and working on it. He thought he might go to the military but had a change of heart in high school.
Tony decided to pursue working with cars.He attended NASCAR Technical Institute and now is a technician with Audi. Tony advises aspiring technicians to work hard and pay attention in school. Tony says he never missed a day of class.If you can, Tony says, get a job in a shop while you're in school. That really helps you apply the knowledge you're learning in class, he says.Tony worked at Audi while he was in school and would learn something in class, then work on the same type of car at work. He says that really helped him.
