Tabitha Hardy’s Childhood Excitement Turned Hands-on Career | UTI

Greasy hands, complex machines and a passion for solving problems. These are the building blocks of trade school graduate and Crown Lift Truck’s Mechanic, Tabitha Hardy. Her journey to become a skilled technician began a long time ago, back when she was a toddler and discovered her passion for working with her hands. One might say she was born with the need to fix things, as her grandpa was also a mechanic. “I used to go with him and work on things,” she reflects on her childhood.Knowing that she wanted to work in a similar field but needed to develop her skills, she enrolled in the 16-month Energy Technology program. Here she trained to turn her hobby into a career, learned from caring instructors with real-world experience and graduated with an associate of applied science.*Watch her story to learn more about her education and what she’s doing now!For more information regarding energy technology training programs at Universal Technical Institute, visit https://www.uti.edu/programs/energy/energy-technology.Learn about our campus locations: https://www.uti.edu/locations.For additional information into specific courses, tuition and admissions, see the course catalogs at https://www.uti.edu/programs/catalogs.For more examples of how Universal Technical Institute has shaped the careers of many of today's technicians, visit https://www.uti.edu/why-uti/graduate-...To find the nearest UTI school near you, visit https://www.uti.edu/locations.To stay up to date with some of the latest news regarding UTI, join us on social media.Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/UTI X (Twitter): https://twitter.com/utitweet Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/uti.tech/*MIAT is an educational institution and cannot guarantee employment or salary.
